[Marriage by WoongJin Lee] The best spouse, the worst spouse...is there such a thing?

 

The truth that was compounded by observing numerous meetings and marriages over the past 30 years is that everyone’s types are different. It is not wise to standardize people with certain criteria.

 

Sometimes, the best spouse turns out to be the worst, and the worst one turns out to be the best.

So, whoever is the most compatible with me will be the best spouse.

 

Miss A graduated from a prestigious university, came from a good family, and was the so-called first-class bride.

Since she has such a desirable background, many bachelors wanted to meet with her and she ended up marrying a second generation Korean American lawyer. Her life was golden when she moved to the US with her husband however, that was pretty much the end of her golden days. 

 

It didn't take long for her husband to reveal his true side hidden behind his fancy cover.

His earnings were spent on his own expenses, and he wasn’t making enough to make a living

since it was difficult for him to take even one case. Now, she is in a situation where she has to make a tough decision. 

 

Miss B’s case is the complete opposite.

She married an ordinary man from a poor family who graduated from an ordinary university.

People around her wondered why she chose such a below average guy.

She thought that being sincere and responsible was most important.

 

The couple struggled the first few years since they had to start from scratch.

Miss B’s husband is a very responsible guy, and he did whatever it took to provide for his family.

After tew years, their business was on track.

 

He puts top priority whenever his wife’s side of family needs him since he knows how hard his wife has worked so far. Right now, she is enjoying stable and relaxing life. 

 

There are too many variables in life to choose a spouse based solely on what you see in the present.

The best spouse and the worst spouse can’t be determined by the present circumstances,

but it will be determined by the outcome of the marriage life.
